"Di studied a picture of Dixie as David gave her background on Dixie's life and loves. David asked Di how she knew so much about Tad. Di told him that she read all about Tad in the paper. He told her that Tad cheated on Dixie and that is why he and Dixie had an affair. David told Di that he loved Dixie. She asked him why he wanted to pull off this charade. David ranted on about the evil Chandler Empire and if Di could convince JR she is Dixie, she could get him to let Babe see her son. She kept arguing that the whole idea was too crazy and they couldn't pull it off. Di then asked David what she is supposed to say where she has been for three years. David told Di she had nothing to lose, she would have money and she would be safe from the man who wants her dead. David said he already had set his plan into motion. Tad received a phone call from officials in Switzerland and told him they found Dixie's car, but there was no body in the car.
Babe and Tad went to the prison to see Krystal after learning she had an accident and was in the infirmary. Krystal told them she had too large a load of laundry in her arms and fell down the stairs. Krystal asked Babe about Adam Jr and Babe gleefully showed her pictures of the baby. Babe left to go for her visitation with Adam Jr, but Tad wouldn't leave. He wanted Krystal to tell him what really happened. He told Krystal he knew that she was beat up in prison. She told Tad that the her prison mates don't like women who steal babies. Obviously in pain, Tad helped Krystal out of her chair and Tad told the warden that he wanted her to make sure it didn't happen again or she would regret it. The warden told Tad that a beating was all part of the package. She told Tad she did not like threats and Tad told her that he would slap her face all over Tempo magazine with a big fat story of prison abuse.
Jack continued to insist that Greenlee leave Ryan. She told him she would never leave her husband. Erica told Jack he was dead wrong to Greenlee to leave Ryan. Greenlee went back in to see Ryan and he told Greenlee that maybe Jackson is right in telling her to leave him. Greenlee told Ryan all she needed was to be his wife. Ryan told her that he didn't want to lose her either. Erica tried to explain to Jack that Ryan and Greenlee love each other and he should stay out of their relationship. Maria came to see Ryan, but Erica stopped her at the door telling her she was not going to see Ryan. Maria told Erica that usually gatekeepers were three headed dogs, not two headed bitches. Jack tried to call Erica off, but Maria said she would come back. Ryan heard Maria in the hall and wanted to see her. Maria told Ryan that she was glad he was alright and Ryan apologized for Edmund's murder. Ryan also apologized for not seeing Jonathan for who he really was. Maria told Ryan that he wasn't the only one who refused to see the truth. Greenlee asked Erica how to get Ryan through this.
Maria told Zach that even though she tried to convince herself that the man she fell in love with in the desert no longer existed, she knew that he was the same man and that she still loved him. Maria continued to tell Zach how sorry she was that she hurt him and she doesn't know he Zach could ever forgive her. Zach told her in a friendly but firm manner that he accepted her apology but then immediately left.
Derek wanted Ethan to go to the police station to make a statement about Edmund's murder and suggested that he bring his lawyer with him. Kendall told Derek she would tell him about the murder exactly the way Ethan told her it happened. Derek said he wasn't interested in Kendall's statement. Ethan (almost desperately) told Kendall that the only thing that mattered was that they loved each other and he again slipped the engagement ring on her finger, promised her eternal happiness and went with Derek. J.R. showed up to check on Kendall and she asked him what he really thought about Ethan. J.R. told her that the guy who helped him get little Adam was not the same guy who slipped the ring on her finger.
At the police station, Derek told Ethan that lying to the police is a felony. Livia and Zach showed up at the station and Livia wanted to know why the charges against Zach had not been dropped. The D.A. told them that there was another witness in the case. Someone who Zach bragged to while in jail about how he killed Edmund. Ethan, still sticking with his story, smiled smugly. Zach told Ethan to cut his losses and tell the truth. Zach told Ethan he knew that he paid the witness and Ethan told him that he did whatever it would take to win. Zach gave Ethan another chance to come clean when Livia came over and told Zach that the charges against him had been dropped. Ethan couldn't believe his ears. Livia told him that the D.A. knows that a conviction is impossible and there was too much stink attached to the case. Derek and the D.A. told Ethan that they had no choice and that they may never know who the liar is. Just then, Kendall was at the police station and exclaimed that she knew who was lying and pointed straight at Ethan."
