"Dixie plays a game of what if with Edmund, wondering if he had a choice between Maria and Brooke, who would he picture himself walking down the aisle with. Edmund wonders if Dixie knows something about Brooke's marriage to Tad. Dixie claims she doesn't, but when she leaves to get Junior a glass of milk, Junior tells Edmund that Dixie was kissing Ted, which contradicts Dixie's story that she hasn't seen Tad. Meanwhile, Brooke wants to know why she and Tad haven't made love since he returned from Napa Valley, but before Tad can muster up the strength to tell the truth, they are interrupted by Ted."
