1993 Maria Is Tired of Playing Second Fiddle

"Dixie and Tad's love nest reality is crashed when Brooke calls and wants Tad to return home. Dimitri asks how Edmund is doing. Edmund is going to move on with his life, now that Brooke has made her choice. Edmund visits Maria, who is pissed that she made a fool out of herself calling all over town looking for him. Maria's ire rises when Brooke shows up with Jamie in tow. Brooke and Jamie exit, and Edmund admits to Maria that he asks Brooke to leave her husband, but she said no. Maria is sick of playing second fiddle, and she also wonders why Edmund continues to watch Brooke have a life from the sidelines. Brooke admits to Aunt Phoebe that she and Edmund had the talk, and Brooke is staying married to Tad. Edmund shows up at the cottage to drop off the key, and he and Brooke end up reminiscing about their time spent there.
