"Brooke confides in Opal that she isn't happy about Dixie working at Orsini. She wonders if Dixie's isn't using her position to punish Tad for hurting her. Opal doesn't understand Dixie's motives, and she isn't going to try and guess anymore. Opal just hopes that Brooke isn't mad at her for telling Tad that Brooke and Edmund were up at Willow Lake. Brooke isn't angry, and assures Opal they were just working on an investigation. After Opal leaves, Brooke recalls the tender moments she shared with Edmund, but is brought back to reality with Tad punching Edmund. Meanwhile, Maria is falling in love with Edmund, and shares with Dixie that she thinks the chapter on Brooke English is about to slam shut. However, Edmund works in the stables, and has the same recall as Brooke. Ted interrupts. He asks for Edmund's help. Ted needs a mentor to impress Dixie (portion not seen, tape wouldn't transfer). "Brooke, Dixie and Maria bump into one another at Myrtle's Boutique. Brooke is polite, but the sight of Maria unnerves her. Maria is there to help Dixie pick out a dress, but ends up getting one for herself when Edmund invites her to the event.
